Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse (npub1vse…v7q2) we had cardboard cut out police officers in shops during 1990s/00s which was supposed to discourage shoplifting (not sure if it had much effect). I suppose the idea is to make people looking from a distance think there is an extra police car around
