if there have been gang crimes committed by people who are muslims in the UK (islam is a religion not an ethnicity) and you assume that all muslim countries have a gang rape problem, that fits into the definition of racism. i live in an arab-muslim country and I’ve never heard of a single case of gang rape here. so yes this feels more like western propaganda (many people also confuse arabs and muslims, though arabs make up only 18% of the muslim population).

As for iran they are not protecting women from rape cases. In islam women wear the hijab not as a protection against rape but because the quran calls for modest clothing.

i'm not an expert in middle eastern geopolitics, and I don’t fully understand iran’s role in the israel war on ghaza but what’s obvious is that the women situation in iran has nothing to do with it. human rights abuses don't justify bombing iran. there are plenty of countries with human rights abuse, and it’s not like the us plans to bomb them all.
