Doesn't help that world record holder, Tobi Amusan crashed out of the 100m hurdles. Also doesn't help that the officials forgot to register Favour Ofili for the 100m (!!)
I used to believe the myth that there was something about West Africans - and people taken from W. Africa by slavery - that made us fast sprinters. But this Olympics showed that Southern Africa definitely has something to say too.
