- syntax differences between bash/zsh/etc
- differences in command line flag syntax between different programs
- how to copy/paste
- how certain key presses (ctrl+c, etc) get mysteriously transformed into signals, and where those signals get sent
- differences between terminal emulators
would love to hear even more things folks find confusing about the command line!
