I unexpectedly found a beautiful dawn redwood tree growing randomly in a small Alameda city park. Dawn redwoods are very rare and special trees, at least here in the eastern Bay Area. It’s very odd but delightful to see a conifer that changes color and drops needles in autumn. #ThickTrunkTuesday #DawnRedwood #TreeTuesday
