i made a "kick-start" script that ties my Debian initial setup script and my scripts for various window managers and desktop environments together.. ..i need to make this a proper TUI at some point, but for now this is simple and it works..
https://git.sr.ht/~e33io/scripts/tree/main/item/deb-post-install-options.sh..just start with a minimal Debian install.. (only select "standard system utilities")
..then run 4 commands..
..then an option to run initial setup..
..then an option to install a selected window manager or desktop environment..
