I belong to the chunk of autistic people who enjoys testing new flavors, textures and cuisine; this probably stems from the fact that I lived 19 years of my life in home that had heavy second-hand smoking and once I moved out, my tastebuds blossomed. I went from "meh, food is OK" to "YUM! WHAT IS THIS AWESOME!?" A taster became super-taster.
