non-interference is a central tenet of Taoism and Buddhism
it is also a big thing in Christianity
i have been trying to wrap my head around the concept of the Second Coming with regard to this matter of neutrality and i'm just having a random thought
what happens when you know something and not speaking it plays a part in the success of a deception?
is it interference when you pop up and whisper into people's ears "this thing is going to happen because of X"?
isn't there some kind of moral obligation to those who know to help those who don't learn?
yes it is interference in some way, in that you save the innocent from the jaws of doom, but do they who know really have a choice to not inform at least some of those who will suffer of the ways in which the suffering can be prevented or avoided?
furthermore, those who Don't Wish To Know, don't listen anyway, and Those Who Want To Know, try to discern this out of every random scrawling and utterance they come across
just thinking out loud after reading a piece about the Demiurge and the idea of Satan as the God of this (material) World and how to think about the idea of a Jesus coming to Save the Righteous
there is an aspect of this which seems to me to be about holding back the tide of entropy that is the natural state of matter, the involuntary, unthinking mass that just tumbles down the slope towards its inevitable arrival at the ocean, sooner or later
i had an insight one afternoon as i sat in the old train central train station (Nyugati, iirc) staring at a train marked with Ukraine back in late 2015 struck by this story about how God was the infinite future point towards which all that is good and whole converges over the passage of time, this image in my mind like a model of space and time starting with a singularity and unfolding and that which is without merit is the negative space and that which is good is a substance that accumulates with the progress of time as it grows towards infinity
i'm not sure if i'm expressing that as well as i have previously written of it today but the point of the rumination here is to examine the question of whether there is anything sinful about the notion of a Second Coming and whether indeed there might be those who have passed beyond human who come back to help those who seek to go beyond it pass through into membership with them
i think yes
i think there is good reason to believe that as it says in Enoch where the Head of Days laments failing to screen out Nephilim from Noah's Ark's passengers that they would get it right on the second round
and i think that second round is upon us, in the next 50 years such catastrophe the likes of which not even the most robust man-made object with the best of current technology would ensure survival
something like 72000 years ago there was an event that according to genetic analysis suggests there was only 5000 individual humans who survived such a cataclysm, implies that it can happen that during such disasters literally everything much over a few million cells of complexity cannot survive, because of radiation, because of flooding, because of cooling and volcanic eruptions and rocks from space formed out of a superflare's gas ejecta
if wise and advanced people knew with certainty that we would face such an event, they would surely feel a pang of obligation to open a gate to gather those who are worth keeping and would potentially join that eternal mass of stuff that is the body of God as i conceived it on that day
there is a certain meme around these days "nobody is coming to save you" but even in the Bible where such a reference might point it talks about this - the most famous being the preparation for the great wedding, of the gathering of the lamp oil and preparing the garments
i know one thing for sure
whenever i see a little creature about to end life due to its ignorance, i feel a pang of obligation to act, if i can, to preserve its life a little longer, and feel regret when i fail to do so
it is easy enough to see how this might apply to those who have greater understanding of the ways of this universe that they would also act upon their lessers to give them an opportunity to continue on their path towards joining the with what was, is, and will be...
