I'm kinda hoping this will be a wake up call for regulators in the UK and EU. Everyone just watched as Twitter (primarily accounts Elon personally intervened to unban) caused widespread race riots in the UK. It's simply not sustainable to let a bunch of Americans with bad ideals about free speech burn down the rest of western society.
At the end of the day, all these platforms care about is money. US law may prevents their home government from forcing them to stop platforming racists, but it doesn't stop every other government from going after them.
