I competed against some legends in the 90's, no Banked Slaloms, but BoarderX and Big Air. Did contests in the US, Canada and New Zealand. I grew up around all the big names at Brighton, back in the day, as well.... LeBlanc, Walker, Jones, and tons more. It was an amazing era.
