the reason i don't give interviews is because there's no good outcome
either it's taken to be core's opinion and gets "centralization!" "dictator!" "core devs suck!", or worse
on the other hand i'm also not interested in forming a parasocial cult "laanwj's vision" or such (and actually bad for decentralization 🙂 )
i have to be so careful what i say
i'm deeply interested in some of the technical stuff, and happy to discuss things off the record with people that are interested in them, but also i just want to live my life and be left alone, which is, difficult enough sometimes
