Well, if the server can supply 1Tbps of speed, having 1Tbps on your side is good, but if the server can supply only 10Mbps, having 100Mbps, 1Gbps or even 1Tbps on your side won't make any difference, because it will depend on the server side load... The main difference will be the fact you see other things (in other separators/apps) while waiting which distracts you and make you think it loaded must faster!
