I finished cleaning up my 823 transcribed wildcounts from my weekly biodiversity run from yesterday, through the southwest of Ōtautahi-Christchurch city, #NZ.

Here's the endemic forest birds. As usual, almost all were in the hills and planted native forest patches. I heard one korimako-NZ bellbird singing off in the distance in suburbia. I think it was the same bird twice.

I took a photo of the start and end, to give a better idea of the distance.
