Worshippers at the Abdullah Quilliam Mosque in Liverpool talked to demonstrators and shared food with them. The Mosque's Chair, Dr Abdul Hamid said that there were 'deep and beautiful' conversations (BBC news). He feels that not everyone will change, but 'positivity can spread like wildfire'. Some demonstrators were given a short tour of the Mosque. Dr Hamid shows us what wisdom and compassion can achieve, this is a good model for the rest of the UK. Hate must not win.
