Typos ... I do my best to find them all but once the book is published I will always find one more - with proofreader or without.
But this made me consider how much we came to expect perfection - an artificial perfection, if I compare originals from earlier centuries when there was no organized orthography as a norm. How important is this norm that often makes people fear they are not good enough? (I don't like typos, but these thoughts keep coming up in my head).
