Happens more often than one would think.
Same thing happened to a family in Oregon. Father called into school about daughter wanting to transition. Told do not speak to child about this or do anything to interfere or else.
Father left school, ordered u-haul, bought boxes, went home and started packing. Wife & kids got home, told to start packing. Family left 2 days later. Father says never will kids return to Oregon. Father working on house to sell.
