As an engineer, doing something under duress is likely to have a lot more problems later on. This is called technical debt and you pile it on when you're doing things reactively and urgently.
Like most fiat things, technical debt doesn't really get paid off in most places because every non-engineer hates spending resources paying it.
But Bitcoin is different because it's not built reactively or urgently. It's not fiat and we do pay off technical debt. That's why it's got the record that it has, especially compared to altcoins. Something like Ethereum 2.0 is building something from scratch because there's too much technical debt.
Bitcoin is not going to imitate fiat practices. We will make things in due course, with sufficient review and consideration.
