Technically, with no audience and the mikes muted when the other candidate is speaking, this should be a far more straightforward debate for moderation and followups than previous ones. One risk is that Tapper and Bash will bend over backwards to seem tough on Biden and "fair" to Trump to try demonstrate lack of bias against Trump. So the dynamics are complex.
