What was the counterglobalization era like?
Well, here's a clip from early on in the Battle of Seattle, that has
1) anarchists holding circle-A placards
2) a ton of modified gasden flags
3) environmentalists dressed as Turtles
4) Free Tibet banners
5) union members in hard hats
6) stupid puppets about GMO food
It re-launched anarchism as a mass movement. I miss it dearly. Also it was extremely annoying and seeded much of the reactionary, hippie, and lib bullshit we're still dealing with.
