That balance of hinting at the chapter contents without giving too much away is a feat that's challenging to repeat over and over. I go with numbers. I also tend to write in a style that's many short chapters. I think it fits.
Also... the point you mentioned about naming chapters after a character when the POV shifts... yes, I like that. I've done similar, but for sections of a book.
