Here in #BritishColumbia the BC United Party were forced by their funders to dissolve and join the BC Conservatives. Today we learn that 25 staff of the BC United caucus staff were fired without severance pay because the party doesn’t have the money to pay them, so the legislature (us) voted to pay their severances.
I’m okay with that. But the big funders that forced this merger have escaped scott free from this action.
That’s a sucky thing to do. #bcpoli
