10/31/08 Bitcoin white paper released.
Most people attribute it being released on that day because of Reformation day 10/31/1517 when Martin Luther nailed his thesis on a door of the Catholic Church, arguably(maybe) helping lead to the separation of church and state. The parallel being Satoshi using #bitcoin to separate money from state.
Section 1031 tax provision aka 1031 exchange from 1979 to 2017 would have allowed exchanging tangible and intangible investments for bitcoin with no capital gains tax( correct me if I’m wrong, not a tax expert). After 2017 it changed to only include business and investment properties. Interestingly enough, the change in law also took place 2 weeks from the $20,000 bitcoin top of 2017/2018.
Did Satoshi realize that bitcoin could drain the housing market(among other assets) as an investment vehicle and return real estate to what it should be used as, a place to call home?
Could this be another reason for the 10/31 #whitepaper release?
Maybe breadcrumbs? Maybe matrix simulation? Maybe Satoshi is a time traveler? Maybe my brain is broken?
