I’ve been a registered democrat my whole [voting] life. I’ve been growing increasingly frustrated with the Democratic Party since 2016, seeing the collective effort of powers that be snub Bernie in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Today, that frustration has culminated to my decision to leave the Democratic Party, as I have now officially switched my voter registration to no-party/independent. With the unwavering support of Biden, and the DNC’s decision to not support any primary debates against Biden, imo this truly is an attack on a free and fair election. Media and communication holds immense power, and with every democratic politician past and present sharing their unwavering support for Biden, the voters have been stripped of any other option in the party despite 70+% of citizens against Biden seeking reflection.

My values and convictions have not changed. I still consider myself a progressive, and as many in bitcoin I am deeply concerned with and skeptical of our whole political and economic system. I am in no way supportive of the Republican Party at this time either, and I don’t know where may vote will land, if at all, in this next election. It all seems utterly grim and hopeless.

What I am hopeful about is the collective voice of citizens, and #bitcoin. We are fixing the money, and thus one step closer to fixing the world. While things may get worse before they get better, I do believe they will get better.

Much love ✌🏻
