"content": "A #massive irrigation project is underway in the north of #Afghanistan that will forever change the agriculture of the area. \nQueshtepa #Canal is an artificial Canal of 285+ km taking water from the Amu Darya river \u0026 passing through three afghan Provinces namely Balkh, faryab \u0026 jowzjan. The first phase of this Canal(108 km) is completed at 95% \u0026 work on it should soon be finished. This Project with an estimated cost of #$500 million( acc to Previous Govt estimates, #$5 billion was needed)is completely financed through domestic revenue.
