As critical as I am of the government of Israel, I have never agreed with the practice of superimposing a swastika on the Israeli flag.
While calling Israel an ethno-nationalist apartheid state may be apt, superimposing a swastika on the flag flagrantly dismisses the horrific history and suffering associated with it, which goes way too far.
Even if the intent behind this action is protest and not antisemitic, the reality is that it is, regardless of the intent.
