Yes, but my logic is another one.
People get onboarded onto a few gigantic relays, never bother adding more (because why) and when they get cut off, Nostr is just broken, from their point of view.
All of us here have smaller relays we could still communicate on, but they don't. They would just login and see nothing and have no idea why.
Furthermore, concentration means relay providers can effectively censor individual npubs. It's be much worse than the complaints about the trending list shadowbans.
People try to get around this with broadcasting, but that's just another bottleneck because they're all broadcasting over the same channels and not everyone wants their stuff broadcast.
I'm just thinking about it as a communication graph and considering how many nodes you need to take out to break the majority of edges. That number of nodes is shrinking.
