Not using #email quite as much as before but saw another instance of "thread breaking" a while ago and chuckled.
You have likely experienced email threads that stopped suddenly, only to find a new thread on the same topic started by one of the original participants.
Did you notice and think "nice way to deflect", "uh, covering your ass?"
