personally I think the Kinesis Ergo is the best when it comes to macro programming... Sure, there's a version with gamer lights, but you can also turn them off and it looks like an office level keyboard
It comes with two rows of macro keys on the left side, but every key can be programmed... It comes with software, sure, but you can also use any text editor or the keyboard itself.
