Good book, highly recommend, a lot of interesting contextual information on pre-Revolution colonial America in the preamble to and aftermath of the Seven Years/ French and Indian War - I particularly found the information on Pontiac's War and the struggles of negotiation by the indian chief Tamaqua around the Treaty of Easton and the Walking Purchase of Pennsylvania, as well as the first hand accounts of a young George Washington to be interesting, as well as the subtext of the political wrangling of the Stamp Act by the Grenville government and the ministry of William Pitt the Elder. Plus the primary source descriptions of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and the death of general Wolfe - all around a neat book if you like the era or history
