From time to time I like to challenge myself and do something I’m really not used to and the first page in this sketchbook definitely counts as out of my comfort zone. I had a lot of fun creating it but haven’t done anything like it since and can’t see myself doing any building fronts anytime soon either. 😄
Most of all this page taught me a lot about the layering limits of gouache and coloured pencils.
