Looks like we have a new member of #farm_club, a young guy who studies geography and environmental science. I showed him the ropes and we rolled up lots of row cover. No longer needed at this point. We harvested verdolagas to add to the CSA share; farmer Susan is humoring me. (Eddie, the new guy, suggested using the Spanish name instead of purslane, widely known as a "weed".) After work, we took a dip in the Arkansas river, which is still running strong. Bliss.
