It’s been a hell of a day, for once, in the good way. 100 days after being laid off out of the blue from a job I loved and cared deeply about, I was offered and accepted a new job, with a shorter commute and a substantial raise to boot. Will I love this one the same way? Will I meet such interesting, stimulating people? I don’t know, but I’m definitely ready to find out. #funemployment
