The county has been sending out letters informing us that they've redacted parts of the documents associated with our property.
Until it was made illegal in 1968 it was common around here for property to come with race-based restrictions on who could own it.
A shameful part of American history. This was probably going on at the same time as politicians were blathering on about the US being the leader of the free world - and indeed, many today probably think the word 'free' includes the ability to use restrictions like this.
