Romania Election Update.
Polymarket is giving 71% for Simon - a friend of the guy who was banned by the f̶u̶n̶ ̶p̶o̶l̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶ constitutional court.
The next round of elections is between him, and a math teacher who supports gay civil unions.
During his time in parliament, an argument broke out between him and another woman which precipitated in him shouting "I'M GONNA SEXUALLY ASSAULT YOU, YOU PIG"
The math teacher (who I'm told, is technically a research scientist) has the unfortunate luck that his name being phonetically similar to a Romanian word for booger.
Simon doesn't have much of a background, he's basically a professional protestor - so he's probably going to be corrupt as hell, but he'll at least be amusing.
