#WordWeavers 26: Is footwear important or unusual in your story?
Only insofar as Milos is happy that he no longer has to wear shoes until they wear out and fall apart (which at least gave his growing feet some breathing room). He's aware he can now afford to buy the same expensive kind of shoes Alex does... but mostly he sticks to cheap sneakers. The only stuff he'll spend proper money on is his motorbike gear.
