"content": "nostr:npub18ljjwuh8vt0lrh3fe3vsefddt40u297gtsk3d4v4ywhjnvms9zfqy480hq I wish the stigma of addiction was lower for many reasons, but when I worked in an ICU there were a lot of times folks would do the classic lie about how much/how often they drink and then go into withdrawals without the protocol in place that would save them much pain and distress. \n\nIf you drink 3-5 drinks every single night, stopping for a week isn't going to be fun, there are safe ways to help but we have to know.",
