Altyn Dala covers over 75 million hectares of #Kazakhstan, a vast area about the size of Turkey. The Altyn Dala initiative seeks to create and expand protected areas, restore threatened species’ populations, address illegal wildlife trade, and provide professional training and public education. It has saved the once critically endangered Taiga antelope & is now in the running for The Earthshot Prize. The UK's RSPB is one of its partners.
