🇬🇧French citizens did not entrust power to nationalists who would have undermined media freedom, human rights and democracy - thank you!
But even under Macron, France has been governed for years using emergency powers, unprecedented biometric behavioural mass surveillance of public spaces has been introduced, migrants have been repressed and #ChatControl was almost handed a majority.
A possible government led by the "Nouveau Front Populaire" as the election winner gives hope for a change of course!
