Now, I might not know the finer details in law but this to me sounds illegal as shit.
I mean in the EU at least. I never gave any informed fucking consent to this shit, and any consent that was given to anything else than this cannot be re-purposed without asking for consent again for the new thing. That’s how I’ve understood how GDPR works in a nutshell.
So how the fuck can Slack just go and do this shit? They should be litigated to the fucking dirt. Burn the fucking company down.
