It occurred to me that it might be possible to use Shortcuts to control Keynote – it is, but not in any useful way
Shortcuts can now: Open presentation; Create presentation (what fucking use is that, the presentation already exists); Open in rehearsal mode (also useless); Open in show mode (this is the one) – and that’s it! No more
There’s no way to step through, and there’s no way to specify an absolute time with respect to the start of a sequence that is also running on the same fucking machine – even if I were playing the keynote independently, the only thing you can do to make it run automatically is specify a time delay between this slide and the next, and the next slide will be a time delay that only applies to that slide (so 10 seconds for the first slide, and 10 seconds for the second slide, won’t make both slides happen at once, the second 10 seconds is actually at the 20 second point) – which makes it stupidly tedious to figure out where slides are supposed to change
Fuck this, it’s too complicated
