That is malthusian and central planning nonsense. The value people assign to starting and growing a family has nothing to do with their kids impact or need in the economy.

The drop in natality in the west, which is were we see it the most, is largely due to the adoption of ideologies like feminism and cults like climate change. It’s a cultural phenomena not a result of deflation, which no modern country has experienced in centuries by the way.
Absent antihuman ideologies, deflation would incentivize more kids not less. People that adopt bitcoin and escape fiat debasement often end up having more kids than they would have if they had stayed in fiat land. Look no further than the decline in natality rates in Venezuela, which went from being quite prosperous in the 1950’s to poor due to hyperinflation in the last decade.
