Goofy Tyler (npub1a8p…2ncx) this reminds me of an experiment I've kicked around for years, to rig up a couple contactors like that to apply a dynamic brake on an old, busted oscillating fan. I think it'd hop, blow apart, or flash. Not sure how a cheap motor would take DC across the armature.
