I think that fewer young people would seek hormone replacement drugs they did not need if gender non-binary people had more social support.
I think that most detransitioners would not have transitioned, to begin with, if there had been more social support for people that identify as gender non-binary. It is unusual for people who are enby (non-binary) to even want to take HRT drugs, though some do.
