I think there's a very interesting conversation to be had around the nexus of photography and video.

A lot of the cinematography that I enjoy in movies or a TV series really speaks to my sense of composition and light. Just like a photograph might.

But most video content is consumed in a different way to stills. It's paced to consume, and then it's gone. You don't get the chance to sit still with those compositions like you do with photography.
