With Google announcing they'll stop SMS verification in Gmail and switch to QR codes I wonder at the seemingly growing technological and cultural gap between smartphones and computers.
Could Big Tech favors smartphones because it's harder to modify to protect your privacy than computers?
I fear some younger generations have already lost basic tech knowledge because of these "easy-to-use" smartphones.
And I suspect that's totally intentional.
