We were on an island on a 12x6 mile lake, there were a handful of Canadians who ran the place. Accent so thick you couldn't understand a work they said. A few mornings they got up early and cooked doughnuts in lard and bacon fat on a huge iron pan over a campfire. You'd have thought God himself made these doughnuts... They were that good.",
