Levi Kornelsen on Nostr: The problem with the Brian Herbert Dune books is not that they are campy Space Opera ...
The problem with the Brian Herbert Dune books is not that they are campy Space Opera bullshit. So are the originals.
The problem is that Brian Herbert does not have a raging, all-consuming fetish for questions like "What if our experience of existence was only half-conscious, and a fuller form of wakefulness exists?" which puts the campy bullshit in the shade.
