I hate threading anything through a casing. Loathe it. So for the waistband of the 2 pairs of shorts I’m making I attached the waistbands, threaded the cord through the grommets, folded the waistbands over and then safety pinned the cord up at top so I wouldn’t accidentally sew through it. Sewed the waistband down and ta-da, pre threaded waistband.
I will be doing this anywhere it is possible going forward 🥰
