quotingNostr had been growing steadily throughout 2024, but recently dropped below 10k users for the first time this year, following a major, costly attack. It had previously crossed 20k and was aiming for 50 DAU in the near future. Unfortunately, over half the user base, hit by spam, have left. I hope it's just a temporary setback and that Nostr can recover. Would have been nice if they'd focused on spamming the competition, and helping to grow nostr. These are the worst people.
