Google is Evil (continued from https://infosec.exchange/@ErikvanStraten/113738106617788817, see also https://infosec.exchange/@ErikvanStraten/113737899006464714).

I found three more Google servers, apparently all located in Italy:

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ip-address/34.17.56.130/relations
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ip-address/34.154.240.111/relations
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ip-address/34.17.101.113/relations

The screenshot below was taken from the URL mentioned last.

Examples of phishing domain names:

14/94 1omniroyalbanksignin·com
15/94 bmoverifyclientcard·com
14/94 cracrditlnterac443·com
10/94 my-fedex-delivery-reschedule·com
12/94 mydeliveryreschedule-eta·com
1/94 fedexcourriertemporaire·com
5/94 identityvalidation-cibconline·com
11/94 rbcrequestcancelatl0n·com
8/94 dhlxpresstrack09·com
11/94 gctxreturn24ca·com
14/94 auth-royalbankrbc-online·com

I can only speculate why one domain name is detected by 10 or more scanners (even 16/94, the highest I saw, still feels like Russian roulette) while others are not detected.

News from today in the Netherlands: the amount of people who reported that they were robbed online is approx. the same as in 2022, but on average they lost lot more money per "succesful" (for the thief) attack: 9,000 instead of 4,000 Euro. People robbed are often younger, in particular because of cryptocoin scams.
